Selling Your Books

If you would like to sell copies of your book at our bookstore or at your event, we offer a consignment option.

This involves entering into a consignment agreement with us, bringing physical copies of your book to our store, and having them placed on our shelves for 1-3 months. When they sell, 65% of the sale price goes to the author, 35% goes to the store.

We’ll provide you with a simple consignment agreement upon request.

Hosting an Author Event

Host your event at Book Lovers Valencia!

We welcome:

• Book launches
• Signings & author readings
• Presentations

Program Limit: 2 events per month

Requirements: Books must be professionally edited and presented, and reviewed by us for approval.

TIMING

• Evenings: 8–9 p.m. (recommended)
• Afternoons: 4–5 p.m. (on request)
• Booking: Minimum 3 weeks’ notice
• Books: Have copies on hand or arrange shipment from your publisher in advance

BOOK SALES

SPACE

• Seats 40–45
• Tables & chairs provided
• Bar area with mini-fridge available for refreshments

PROMOTION

• Authors are responsible for their event promotion
• We can display a poster in-store, create a MeetUp event, and publish one announcement across our social media channels
