Selling your books
at our shop

We currently order books from Penguin and have a consignment program for independent authors.

Our consignment program involves authors bringing physical copies of their book to our store where we place them on our shelves typically for three months (to start). When they sell, 65% of the sale price goes to the author, 35% goes to the store.

Consignment Agreement Requirements

In order to consider stocking your book, we will need to review your book to ensure it meets our requirements and suits our client base.

Requirements include:

  • Professional-level editing and cover design
  • A valid 13-digit ISBN
  • A printed and bound spine displaying the title and author name (no spiral binding)
  • Paperback, hardcover, board, or equivalent cover displaying the title and author name
  • An active marketing plan
  • PDF copy or sample chapters of your book
