About Us

Ever since Kim was a little girl, reading has been a constant comfort and refuge. As an only child of two busy working parents, she practically lived at the library. She’s been a “book dragon” ever since and is a proud owner of a rather substantial collection of her own.

Running a bookstore has been her lifelong dream. When the opportunity arose to take the reigns of Book Lovers Valencia, it came at just the right time, and she decided to take the plunge and make it happen.

Hailing from B.C., Canada, Oriana brings a decade of experience in the publishing industry focused in marketing & communications. She’s also a writer (specializing in creative nonfiction), and has a writing degree from the University of Victoria.

Oriana has joined Kim (her mom) to help run the shop, and manages Book Lovers Valencia’s online presence.
